About Us
The first regional association of its kind, ACUMS was founded in 1978 to address issues and challenges unique to processing mail in an academic environment.
ACUMS is dedicated to ensuring the professional character of the College and University (C&U) mailing industry; fostering cooperative relationships among its members; providing professional development opportunities; offering advocacy on issues affecting C&U mail services; and ensuring that our members are able to provide the best service possible for their individual institutions.
ACUMS hosts a fall conference that includes a business meeting, educational programs, vendor displays, and a banquet. The organization also provides a members-only resources on our website, a resource library, newsletter, and scholarship fund for professional certification.
